Among the many fantastical creatures of the ancient world is the griffin. With the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle, the griffin is an active part of Cult of the Flying Griffin.

Led by a heretical mystic pursued by credulous acolytes, Cult of the Flying Griffin venerates griffins, who are Fierce, pure, and worthy of praise.

The cult is secret and unknown. They make their headquarters in in a forest clearing marked only by a statue of an eagle next to a lion

They command their members to recruit two new members, who must each recruit two more, and so on. They hate magic not sanctioned by the cult and their idol.
