“Adopted” by human parents as an infant, Chastity never learned much about her tiefling heritage. Her parents raised her (along with seven other siblings) in a reclusive, separatist branch of the Church of Ilmater. She learned at an early age that most smaller humanoids fear tieflings, and clung to Ilmater’s example of suffering in order to serve others, in order to make herself seem less threatening and more approachable.

As an adult, she joined the Tide’s End Emerald Watch, hoping to help others and perform good deeds. Thanks to her strength and solid build, she usually ended up filling a frontline, guardian-type role, taking hits so her companions and allies wouldn’t have to. This tendency became more of a trademark when she left Tide’s End with fellow Emerald Watch members Sonrae and Ilisys, the latter of whom she soon developed a crush on.

After uncovering a dangerous conspiracy in Tide’s End, Chastity left the blockaded city in order to destroy the Old God Ysimer and various branches of his evil cult. While her horizons have broadened considerably since venturing beyond the city’s walls, Chastity still maintains a certain degree of sheltered innocence and unusually extroverted friendliness.

She confessed her love to fellow party member and traveling companion Ilisys at the Druid Conclave in Marklesfield, but they have yet to discuss what that means.
