Kevin Drayer has said that children have been reported as going missing at night. They disappear both from the streets as well as from their rooms at home. Some have been found in the waters down by the harbor after the fact. Constable Hawthorne is rumored to have the most knowledge of issue and to be the person to talk to find out more.

update: Fulram Madheart claimed that all the kids that disappeared were the “troubled” types. Kids known to be bullies and to harass other kids. He claimed to not really know any more than that.

Constable Hawthorne did not seem to take this bit about the kids behavior serious. He did state none of the kids had a criminal record. He said he would be happy for any assistance in solving the case and that there would be a reward.

The party followed a group of children late at night in an attempt to discover anything. They encountered a creature. The creature claimed he was not following these kids, for they had done no wrong. He wanted to know why the group was following the kids.

The party battled the creature, but he was very, very strong. He did not appear interested in fighting and fled when he had the opportunity. He did let loose that he only attacks kids “that deserve it”. And that he did not want to fight the party since they “had done no wrong”. He also let slip that “I fulfill my master’s desires.”

Last note, the creature did not like the light. He seemed to be able to disappear into the shadows and hide, but bright light prevented that.

Update: The create was revealed through research to be a Boneclaw. A type of creature that is created by a failed attempt to create a lich. A Boneclaw will locate the most evil creature in it’s vicinity and enslave itself to it.
