Sildar Hallwinter is a Paladin of Bahamut and the head of the order of The Ivory Visage, with the passing of Gundren and the exit of Fayri. He is also currently the temporary Mayor of Phandalin

Sildar was raised primarily as a warrior and to be a soldier of Silent Rock, as all of the Hallwinter family was before him. When sent to Eymont as part of the training these soldiers endure, he often had interactions with the dragon born that live there. He grew to love their culture and find respect in how strong their faith remained in Bahamut, even as his sorrow leaves a mark across the entire land and he seemingly leaves Igramel to suffer. He took a visit to the temple of Bahamut in Eymont and since that night he has never questiond his faith, leaving his family and the path of a Soldier to pursue his faith. He was found by Gundren Rockseeker during this journey and advise to join his cause, to discover the true fate of the gods.

Sildar was last seen running Phandalin in the town hall with his, now adopted daughter, Rosalie.
