The Artifact Hunt
Made by the gods, for the gods, and stolen from them.
Hunting down the artifacts stolen by the gods is a long, arduous task set before the party.
Artifacts
THE RING OF ENDURANCE. An artifact made in honor of a martyr, Saint Sunezura, of They Who Become. A ring that allows the user to survive death in the manner of the Orcs, twice a day. The wearer is also able to speak and understand Orcish.
QADIR’S MAGNIFICENT HERON. This porcelain and gem-encrusted heron was made in admiration of their god and the bird both, and their similarities they share; beauty, efficiency, and terrifying power. The owner of the Heron is compelled to speak the complete truth, and becomes increasingly insomniac. It’s other attributes are less well-known.
THE TURQUOISE ARMAMENT. While there is rumored to be more than one set of armor made for the goddess of war, Tipia Stronghold, only one is known of for certain, The Turquoise Armament, which is plate armor decorated seemingly made from turquoise itself, the color Tipia is associated with.
Benefits: While attuned to the artifact, you gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class. In addition, while attuned, you also regain 1d6 hit points at the start of your turn if you have at least 1 hit point.
Drawbacks: The first time you touch a gem or piece of jewelry while attuned to this artifact, the value of the gem or jewelry is reduced by half. The armor itself does not want to run from a fight, and if the wearer tries to flee from battle, their speed is halved.
