Cultists and others aware of the oncoming Calamity seek to cause chaos and destruction either out of service to the Betrayer gods or for their own motives. It is the job of the Heroes of the Netherdeep to deal with the “people on the ground” as the gods combat the escape of Ruidus’ prisoner.
