There is an air of mystery surrounding the Cult of Myrkul and what they have been up to, but one thing is for certain: evil drips off of their every move and whispers.

After a battle at The Wayside Inn, the group noticed that the undead there were riddled with plant vines and small beautiful orchids, suggesting a deadly amalgamation of primal magic and necromancy. Professor Rittle provided a small sample to Fiona Black to study

After defeating the ghost possessing Gallio Elibro and creating havoc by summoning aberrations from beyond, the group learned the undead was somehow connected to the Cult of Myrkul and was searching for the Ruinstone as well. Gallio hypothesized that while this artifact was dangerous in the hands of any common individual, a deity of any tier could devastate the balance of the world, past, present, and future. Could this be what the cult is aiming for, to bring forth Myrkul as the dominating force in the entire universe?
