Session 35

Waking up in Aulamaxa estate, The group prepares to leave as soon as curfew is lifted. Lucius takes extra care to disguise Marquel, but egress from the Greens goes by uneventfully, and Marquel is brought across Kintargo’s length to the Old Harbor. The Ravens board The Scourge of Belial once more, now with Marquel in tow, and make way for the Captain’s quarters. The enter and find him there again, and theres a moment of shock as he sees Marquel enter. They have a touching reunion as Marquel announces he will stay with the Captain. Sargeta is overjoyed, and quickly gives thanks and praise to the ravens, asking who was responsible for getting Marquel to him. The party pushes Ayse forward, and in a bizzare display, Sargeta hands Ayse a teacup, telling him to smash it on the ground. Confused but accepting, Ayse does, and the fine clay piece is shattered into four large pieces.

Sargeta explains that in his homeland, this is an honored tradition, and that he is now bound to provide four favors within his power, one for each piece of the cup. He will grant anything shy of treason that he can, up to and including monetary/material support. After the explanation, he makes it very clear that the groups business there is done, and he wishes to spend some time alone with Marquel. The party takes their leave to head back to Longroads and prepare the rebellions administration for the week.

Start of Rebellion Turn

Session 36

After the rebellion meeting, Morgar Manthy comes to the party with a raven messenger from Octavio. He sends word of the armigers being safe, and invites the group to a celebration at the tooth and nail to honor the occasion. The Ravens decide to kill some time before the event, and Perfidus does team building exercises with Bird Up.

The party arrives at the Tooth and Nail at the appointed time. There are dozens of people in attendance, including all of the Hellknights of the Torrent, all members of the Silver Ravens, various residents of the Red Roof, and a few worshippers of Milani.

The party splits up to mingle with various peoples. Hoby fleeces Rexus, Perfidus, and Tallulah at a game of devil pin.

Ayse talks to Octavio about plans and next steps. They discuss needing a new hideout, and Octavio brings up the Lucky Bones, the burned out casino. Apparently, it used to be a front for a cult of Norgorber known as the “Gray Spiders”. There was an entire underground compound that was raided and locked away by the Hellknights of the torrent many years ago, and the chambers haven’t been opened since. Octavio mentions that though it could still be dangerous, there may be various “treasures” still locked away, and it could serve as a good secret stronghold for the Ravens.

Lucius and Ham get into a drunken argument about how things have been handled so far, and about loosing Vazra and Tahllulahs actions. Ham passes out and gets moved to a bedroom. When he wakes, Sunbones catches him before he gets back to the party, and tries to convince him to kill Truny and steal his restaurants as a front for the rebellion

When Ham does finally return to the party, Octavio gives a speech thanking the Silver Ravens for rescuing the armigers, and pledges that the Order of The Torrent will support the Silver Ravens full stop, and expects the same consideration in return.
