Greenest
The village of Greenest was founded by the halfling Darva Scatterheart, a thief who believed herself to be the Queen of the Green Fields. Scatterheart left this world without ever reaching that level of importance. but her country grew into a prosperous community. Her success was no surprise, since Greenest is the only town of any size along the Uldon Trail. the most direct route connecting the eastern cities of the Costa del Drago. the Cormyr and the Sembia with the Costa road going south to the great cities of Amn, Tethyr and remote Calimshan. The caravans passing through Greenest lay a lot of gold for the merchants and craftsmen of the country, and Governor Nighthill wisely guides the country on behalf of its inhabitants.

The town is most well known for being the only stop on the Uldoon Trail between the Berdusk Fork and Nashkel. It is also known to be the location of the Crystal Fields, a mine of perfect transparent quartz.

Quartz
A transparent purple gemstone, worth around 50 gp. It is also known as rock crystal. Clear quartz naturally smoothed by running waters sacred to the dwarven mother goddess Berronar Truesilver, whose followers believe them to be her solidified tears.
