Life Cycle of City Citizens

Ages 0-5: A citizen is born and blessed by Yan if from Longlenca and blessed by the government of Couloir on their name day. Life is lived being provided for and nothing is expected of them yet.

Ages 5-10: Citizens begin to gain an understanding of themselves and the life around them, interests and possible professions are introduced as are tests and education to better the citizens for their roles in each city.

Ages 10-20: Congratulations, you have reached the age of accountability. It it time to learn, grow, and strive towards your prospective role in society. Upon the age of 20 you are considered graduated and able to provide for yourself as an upstanding citizen of either city.

Ages 20-65: Citizens continue living their lives in their roles.

Ages 65-79: Congratulations, you have reached the age of retirement. It is time to rest but also a time to provide and support the younger generation and those assisting them. One may choose to continue their professions if able due to age. Otherwise it is expected that one will assist others in raising the next gen.

Age 80: If one lives in Longlenca and you have reached 80, it is your time of ascension to Yan. On your 80th birthing day you will give yourself unto Yan in the ever lasting cycle of health and care for Yan and the city.
