Occupation: Aspiring Herbalist and Adventurer
Location: Frair Fair Village
Family: Brosel (father), Tilda (mother)
Aurora Dunkin, the daughter of Brosel and Tilda, is a spirited young woman in her late teens, known for her striking red hair and bright blue eyes that seem to sparkle with curiosity. Growing up in the cozy confines of Dunkin Inn, she has always been surrounded by stories of adventure and heroism, instilling in her a yearning for exploration beyond the village’s borders.
From an early age, Aurora showed a remarkable affinity for nature and a keen interest in her mother’s herbalist craft. She would often accompany Tilda on her foraging trips, learning to identify plants and their properties. Aurora developed a reputation for her knack for healing, often concocting poultices and tonics for villagers in need. Her gentle demeanor and empathetic nature made her a beloved figure among the townsfolk, who turned to her for comfort and support.
However, her life took a dark turn when she was abducted by the Order of the Fiery Eye, a cult seeking to harness her potential for their own sinister purposes. For weeks, Aurora was trapped in a hidden lair, where the cultists sought to siphon her latent magical abilities through dark rituals. The experience was harrowing; she witnessed the depths of orcish cruelty and the power of fear. Yet, it also ignited a spark within her. In the darkness, she discovered her inner strength and resilience, learning to harness the magic that flowed through her, even if she didn’t fully understand it.
When her parents and a group of adventurers finally rescued her, Aurora returned to Frair Fair Village forever changed. The ordeal deepened her connection to the natural world and heightened her magical sensitivity, allowing her to tap into her powers in ways she never thought possible. Still too young to be able to do anything with it, it would give her mother the ability to begging training her in the art of herbalism. While the trauma of her abduction still lingers, she uses her experiences as motivation to help others and ensure that no one else suffers as she did.
