This middle aged warrior was a member of the griffon cavalry and is now an esteemed agent of the Lord’s Alliance.
He was escorting Gundren Rockseeker to Phandalin, but his horse was found killed on the Triboar Trail about 5 miles east of the High Road along with Gundren’s wounded horse. Neither of the riders could be found in the area.
The party rescued him from the Cragmaw goblins’ cave. He said he and Gundren were split up - Gundren taken to Cragmaw Castle on the orders of a “Black Spider.”
Sildar drove the cart and mule to Phandalin.
