The Chairman’s influence is vast, and detailed. A small circle of trusted agents are at his employ, doing his dirty work or encouraging others to do it against even their own knowledge. Sowing the seeds of confusion is his main protective tactic, and plausible deniability will hold off even the most thorough of investigations. He is a master manipulator, both logistically and emotionally - His attitude of knowing all the answers and gently reassuring his followers with “truth” are key tactics he uses to mold even the most dedicated revolutionary into a willing pawn, even if it requires omitting a few details. Feeding people what they want to hear is his MO, and once someone’s on the hook, they’re more than happy to serve his ends.
