As the party was enjoying a moment of peace in a tavern in Neverwinter where we met an Aarakoura named AK who decided to join us on our adventure. There was a sudden disturbance outside! They adventured to the outside of the tavern to see a ship coming into dock with a wraith and skeletons on. Talking about destroying the aboleth in the lower vaults in the temple of knowledge.

The party headed towards the temple to try and help while everyone ran, seeing two skeletons outside of the temple doors Lisanna causes a distraction while Bl’houb cast a spell to make a doorway in the wall of the temple allowing the party to pass by unnoticed. one inside of the temple the party were faced with a puzzle door, with four different gems in each corner of the door. by pressing them in order to spell OPEN the door opened and through this, the party were in a labyrinth!

Going through the labyrinth the party encounters countless skeletons, easily beaten by the party. there was also another door but this time it was missing a ruby in the door, the party decided to carry on exploring to see if they could find it. in the middle of the maze, they found a dying drawf who was in the grasp of madness. Saying about how he and another were sent to get the ruby for Ruald Knell. he was stuck here while the person he was with escaped to take the ruby to the Neverwinter Thieves Guild Little Hop decided to kill him. Later the party encounter a trapped room with Bl’houb stepping on a pressure plate so Malegos Morborn went to get the recently killed thief and they swapped him onto the pressure plate to escape the room.

Realising the ruby was long gone Guus put on his Boneless Eyepatch and Malegos Morborn pushed him along with the ruby eye into the slot. once the door was open and Guusremoved from the door they found a glyph that said move.

Once finding it safe the party went through to another level of the labyrinth. Going through all of this they managed to reach a room with another door and a glyph, the glyph led back to the start of the maze so we decided to try get through the door. To do this the party had to make a sacrifice. they would then be brought back to life but another soul would have to be taken. Malegos Morborn sacrificed himself but after he came back Lisanna soul was taken in the deal. We have to get her safe and find the temple to get he soul back. once through the door there were some stairs leading down.

At the bottom of the stairs, the party could see the wraith form before along with white. then thought along were 5 more skeletons attacking the Aboleth. Bl’houb managed to scare the wraith so it ran away and the party quickly dealt with the white. Once these were out of the way they destroyed the skeletons and ‘saved the Aboleth.

The Aboleth turned out to be Kzixxaro who talked to the party with a mind link. He offered help to destroy the Mind Flayer but in exchange helped him to take over the world!

Little Hop was the first to agree without asking for anything in return.
Lisanna agreed after being told he would help her get to the temple with her soul.
Malegos Morborn agreed if he was given a ship
AK agreed if he sent people to kill giants.
Bl’houb agreed if he was given 500 people to become followers of The Dude.
Guus was the last to agree. After being told he would be killed by the party if he disagreed he agreed that anyone who touched him that wasn’t his friend was killed.
