Flames surround little hop & the earth begins to crumble away. Suddenly, the ground gives way entirely & the little frog falls for what feels like an eternity. he eventually lands on hot red sand, as he drags himself to his feet he sees nothing but fire before a gargantuan red demon surrounded by a writhing hareem of men & women rises through the ground & towers above little hop. A ring of flames quickly burns & vanishes next to little hop & in a flash, Guus is standing next to him.

“In penance for wilfully hurting your friend, my son! I am going to deal a fitting punishment. Guus, I am allowing you this flirt with the mortal realm so that you may come to appreciate what you could have here. And I know you stole my whip! This is the first & last time I am going to interfere, Guus if you fall in combat you will be dragged down here to spend eternity in servitude, Now…”

The demon cracks his knuckles & in an instant Guus & little hop feel a burning, scratching sensation on the inner lining of their flesh.

“Little hop, you are bound by glyph to my son. Whenever Guus receives injury you receive the same injury. Hopefully, this will dissuade you from pulling out any more of your friend’s eyeballs. Now, begone. And son, do not disappoint me”

Guus’ eye has been replaced by a bright Ruby.

The party decided it was best to evacuate the island.

We woke up to Little Hop & Guus going to see his dad and have their HP linked as well as Guus getting a new eye. Left to travel to all of the villages and fortes on Gundarlun to warn them about the Mind Flayer and that they would need to evacuate. The party then left Gundarlun and travelled back to Neverwinter where they did a little shopping.
