Arriving in Port Dimali, Applethorn found himself entangled with a group of three other adventurers, interested in the group that Rennar Dade was attempting to sell the relic to. They tracked the relic to a hobgoblin artificer who was using the relic to channel energy from two red stones into a single bolt of sustained lightning for unknown purposes. Applethorn recovered the relic before being arrested by the Crownsguard.
