6 Uktar 1491
Bear managed to talk to a snake without using any magic whatsoever, not being able to see in the darkness and holding a torch. The snake pointed the way to an algea forest. Upon following the snake’s advice and Bully’s tracking the party discovered a cave where a tribe of degenerated humanoids lived. They had human prisoners and obviously eaten remains of humans were strewn about the place.
A plan was devised where Bear would go in alone to challenge the tribe while Sal and Bully would follow along underground while H’arald would be ready at the ceiling of the cave to rain down fireballs.

Next evening playing:
Our Beabarian and Gaige walked at a leisurely pace to the slum settlement. As we know Gaige, she was in a great mood and greeted everyone very warmly. Little did they knew. The inhabitants of the “village” fit the description: they had the build of a barbarian, but not the healthy appearance. In fact, they looked degenerate with white eyes and gray skin. Moreover, they exceeded our wildest expectations regarding their evil behavior. There were prisoners and piles of limbs scattered here and there. This settlement had to be cleansed!
However, it was 50 enemies versus 2 and Bear felt intimidated, which he denied. Fortunately, Gaige grabbed his clammy hand.
Bear paused on the edge of the village while H’ arald and Sal and Bullie took positions. Bear told in his familiar friendly tone that he was the new leader of the village. He was treated to laughter from the inhabitants. They dared to talk, but not to fight was Bear’s reply. At this, a javelin was thrown at Gaige, which she cleverly dodged and threw back to the owner. He went down and friend and foe laughed at him.
The Leader’s javelin went to Bear, but missed target and the fight started. After Bear allowed in his inner rage, a great feeling arose in him. Yes, even an emotion: he fought for a Greater Goal. It was almost a spiritual intervention!
The leader of the village went to battle recklessly, but was swiftly and skillfully slain. Bear gave the humanoids another chance, but the priest of Bhaal / Malar didn’t listen. She continued to fight. She gave a little more effort, but eventually fell. Gaige invoked the BFF necklace. Several evil soldiers were killed, and Bear continued to give new opportunities to surrender, but it was all or nothing for these poor bastards. It was blind hatred. Even the peasants attacked but were razed to the ground thanks to Peter’s cleaving. A few more fireballs from Harald completed the massacre. Oh yeah 2 landsharks came by with limbs, which were some leftovers from an earlier banquet. Thus, were slain.
The three prisoners were freed and a female barbarian from the Tree Ghost Tribe was found among them. She will talk to Bear later, but first away from here.
