Amon gets a Red Ring, Jean returns from his trip to Soleniri. Amadea and Sante appear, basically give the rundown on their existence. Jean immediately tells everyone that they’re lenders from the underground criminal organizations he knows in Soleniri. Everyone is shocked and upset, but Jean thinks that just killing off Helio Monti will fix this and is trying to convince others that this is a good idea. They don’t take the bait, and Adonis Accardi claps him so hard he almost passes out as he insinuates selling Bianca Mancini‘s whereabouts for the money.
Amon and Six are doing some education with the surviving Erban residents. Amon says to Jean that his hubris has affected NotFalia, but he doesn’t care all that much. Enlai and Zita are told not to eat the food from the criminals, and they both say cool okay great.
Adonis contacts Sirvyr, lets him know that if it all goes to shit he’s willing to go back to his hoard in the east (with his ex military men lol) that he could grab, but it would take a long time to get there and back.
Sirvyr follows the river bank to the place where the spiders were, and the skin has torn more, and more antimagic has poured out into the area. Sirvyr passes the checks, and then the lower planes crash into the rip and some travelers fall through. They get sent on their way with a map and give SIrvyr a soul-based tech necklace that allows them to hologram messages to each other.
Amon and Jean get into an argument, in which Amon takes the eye of Jean and accidentally calls upon their court. Shen LuCheng, being the one with the book at this date, hears Jean and in a rage sends an order via the book to ruin Jean. Amon is shocked, but does as it says and begins plotting. Shen manages to inhabit the sleep of Jean just once, and beats him up.
