57 Spring 522
THE FLINT TRIBUNE:
“A Violent Strike”
57th Day of Spring, 522 AOV
Yesterday, the scheduled protests for better wages and working conditions struck Dawn Square, as many workers took to the streets to portray their discontentment with the status quo. Constables were plentiful, as they had been forewarned, yet no one could predict the violence that would occur…
As Mr. and Mrs. Hollowhand and their son went for a stroll in the midday bustle, their path where intercepted by the crowd of protesters, which at this hour had grown rowdy in the drink. Being of fey descent, they where overheard to have expressed words of caution to their son, insisting that they should keep their head down and let the commotion pass, yet this would not come to be.
Their presence had seemingly drawn the head of a few anti-fey workers, who due to as of yet unknown reasons descended upon the family, carrying out a vicious attack. We shall spare our readers of the graphic descriptions given by the frightened surrounding crowd, yet we can confirm, that both Mr. and Mrs Hollowhand sadly passed away, before reaching Pardwright Hospital. The state of their son is as of yet unknown.
