Sons of the Soulflame

Sons of the Soulflame are an order of Paladins who have sworn their oaths to Pelor. Starting their conquest after the Opening of The Maw, the natural disaster sparked by the Hrendir mine explosion, The Sons of the Soulflame are absolutely certain that the fire in their veins is needed by the entire world.
Like the god they are sworn to, these warriors are powerful, creative, hardy, and ambitious. They seek to spread word of Pelor’s might, and even named their first city in his honour. Establishing a society where the only god acceptable to worship is Pelor, the city of Pelor’s Might lives under the sun god’s golden fist. As they gained power and resource, they began to set out on conquests across Valinor, seeking to spread the news of their god and the blessings he offers in exchange for simple devotion.
While Pelor’s followers started out as an order for lawful good, the need to constantly expand has turned them into an oppressive force. Killing those who would not bend the knee, Pelor quickly became the main god worshipped in Valinor. As Pelor’s follower count grows, so too does his power, making it a vicious cycle of death and destruction.
Taking Pelor’s masculine form and energy as a Tennent, the Sons of the Soulflame only accept men into their ranks as warriors. Women who wish to aid the cause are shunted to the sidelines, viewed as capable only of supporting those strong enough to bear the heat of the Soulflame.
Members of this order adhere to a code of conduct, similarly to the Conduit’s Flock.
