Traveling to Wandermere

The party acquired one of the two carts from the Missing Shipment. Unfortunately they were without a horse and dragged the cart down to the road slowly. Fortunately, a familiar face was riding by, the traveling merchant, Lucy Luck. Even more fortunately, she was on her way to Reinmont to visit her older sister, Lavidia Luck. The party made a deal that they would protect her in exchange for helping them transport the shipment to Reinmont. There was some trading of items and then the new group headed off with the next stop being Wandermere. Along the journey there was much chatting about previous events and more sharing of backgrounds. Ralathen and Fergus worked together to modify the magic sword Ralathen grabbed from the cultist camp. They ended up creating a sword dubbed the Seam Ripper! Lucy Luck listened intently to the party chat about their first mission in Langston and said she had heard rumors about what happened there, but was excited to hear directly from the heroes’ mouths! Lucy Luck shared some other rumors about people running into trouble traveling along the northern path. Possibly some sort of fey creature or Beira herself turning people into popsicles, but she thinks it’s a bunch of bollocks and people are just ill-prepared for the cold weather and storms. Throughout the trip each of the party members had some interesting dreams; Ralathen dreamed his mother was sick, Jukli dreamed of being surrounded by his people in the desert and being engulfed, Fergus dreamed of his memories fading and Ranoa dreamed of bugs crawling over him and the visage of Astrid. The group eventually made it within sight of Wandermere as the climate shifted into the northern cold.
