The Sword Mountains are two small chains of harsh crags dividing the northern Sword Coast from the rest of the coast. The world famous city of Waterdeep sits where their southern tip meets the Trackless Sea. North of the mountains can be found Leilon, Neverwinter, and Luskan.

The mountains are known to host orcs, trolls, giants, and some say a dragon lives there, among other monstrous dangers.
