Ragnar and Gramdur take the ponies to Oakhurst while the others scout ahead. Run into a small group of hobgoblins setting up an ambush along the path heading into the hills. The Hobgoblins are dispatched after a tough fight. Veit “The Mountain Goat” led the Hobgoblin captain on a merry chase around the mountainside. One of the Hobgoblin’s is tied up, and found murdered.

Travelling onwards along the Uthangoll river the party stumbled upon a group of dwarven children, having escaped from Baulderhead Krag two years ago, being hunted by a Hill Giant, the children were being defended by an Elven warrior named Gawaine who was travelling towards Eartheart. After defeating the Giant the children and Gawaine spent the night with the party and left for Oakhurst the following morning.
