300 km south of the Moonshae isles and off the west coast of the Chult Peninsula, lie the Isles of Lantan.

Lantan is said to be an advanced technological nation primarily made up of rock gnomes and humans. Not much else is known about this secretive nation, apart from the machinery and technology which is exported throughout Faerun. ‘Made in Lantan’ is usually a sign of reliability for mechanical goods.
