Appearance

Mina is an elven druid with pale skin, light freckles, and silver-blonde hair. She is 142 years old, 5’7 and rather slender. She wears a navy blue dress patterned with stars like the night sky, and carries a pale wooden staff. Around her neck is a dark crystal necklace, and her pointed ears are adorned with several earrings each.

Background

Mina was born unter the sign of the Owl in Rionnag, the ancestral home of the star druids, a small town in the wild lands of Craia’s western continent. Her mother never told her much about her father, she only knows that he was a mysterious elf that only visited Rionnag for a few months and was never heard from again.

Mina was identified by the leadership of the star duids as a child (around 50 years old) for special training due to her affinity to light magic. This ability is very rare among her people, and seen as a gift that marks someone as being chosen by the stars for some higher purpose. She received special training as a result until the stars revealed her destiny, and she was chosen to be the star druid’s first off world emissary. Her mission is to determine if her people could expand their influence to other crystal spheres within the coalition.

Mina’s star chart is in the crystal around her neck. She found it hidden among some ancient treasures belonging to her mother after she died. Most star charts are two dimensional, but Mina’s is in three dimensions and it does not match anything in the known sky in Craia from any direction. No one knows the location that it shows, and Mina is determined to find it and learn how it came to be in Rionnag, and in her mother’s possession. Her appointment to venture beyond her world has granted her an opportunity to pursue this knowledge.

Mina is very superstitious, she always knows the positions of the stars and uses them to make decisions, and provide insight.
She can come off as rather awkward and strange because of her spaceyness and reliance on astrology.
