An Autocracy where the royal family has been ruling for centuries. Their borders once reached the furthest of corners, however as time progressed slowly the borders have shrunken to the size it is today. Most well known for their extremely disciplined military. Male Akros citizens must complete a rigorous training camp and serve a minimum 2 years in the military once they come of age, most choose to stay after that time. Also Akros is well known for the Anvil of Purphoros, a guild of Artificers. Akros venerates Iroas, Purphoros, and Keranos the most, hosting the Iroan Games every year where athletes compete in bouts of physical strength, endurance, and agility. The Kindling where a bonfire is kept lit from sundown to sunrise bright enough to be seen for miles. The polis itself sits atop steep cliffs overlooking the ocean. The lands are mountainous which help to act as a natural border defense. At the bay entering the polis is an enormous construct crafted ages ago supposedly to defend in times of war.
