Session #23 January 13, 2023: The Faithful Few awoke to bells ringing throughout the city going to the innkeeper to find out what was happening, found out the bells were a notification that an invading army was approaching. Running along with multiple guards who appeared to be still getting ready as they headed to the northern gate. Lined atop the wall were hundreds of guards awaiting the approaching army, the Faithful Few joined them in preparations. As the army reached the gate Kalash ran back and forth with his spirit guardians, Scrufflebutt made the terrain look different that what was there, and everyone helped in any way they could. Markus as he stood atop the wall he remembered the vision he had back in Meletis when he looked into the Mirror of Fate, he saw himself standing by dozens of tired guards who looked as though they had just survived a hard fought battle. After an hour though the Faithful Few fought hard the gate was overrun and minotaurs were beginning to pour into the city from the gate and walls while demons and harpies flew overhead. Over the course of the next hour the Faithful Few managed to greatly impede the invading army by bottlenecking them at the gate with magic. Though Markus did notice one particular demon carrying one very large minotaur with horns as black as night, fly over the wall into the city and a little time later a blood curdling roar coming from the Arena. The Faithful Few decided to leave the gate and investigate finding Prodos with fighters from the Arena standing off against the large minotaur with horns as black as night along with several harpies and minotaurs. In game time 12/28/42 (first thing in the morning) to 12/28/42 (mid morning).
