Why is it that Treldaan has to be so careless with his words? The day was already off to a rough start when Treldaan called Therrig “Ironcheeks,” but it was made worse when there was a bump from underneath the ship. Followed by a lurch.

A blue dragon, towered over the ship, as lightning burst forth and struck the ship hard. With the damage the ship had already sustained with our resistance, battling the beast didn’t look good. Severin asked me what to do - which, honestly, how should I know - but when he mentioned that he spoke Draconic, I suggested that perhaps he should go “sweet-talk” the dragon or take it one step farther and fuck the dragon. But apparently, this was “not helping.”
That didn’t stop Treldaan from going and talking to the dragon though. While Sev and I joked that he would be eaten, Treldaan asked the dragon what it wanted. According to him, we were in the dragon’s territory and it was demanding its due. The Captain began barking orders, and while he was more than happy to “give the worm its share of iron” he was adamant that we would into be giving it any coin. Battlestations.
And so the battle began. Byron Caine certainly lives up to his reputation as he made quick work of the dragon’s eye. All the while Jedek screamed to be freed from the mast. After hitting it with fire, however, the dragon retreated - which felt too easy. The Captain seems to have agreed as he ordered us to stay close to shore in case the dragon returned.
An hour later it did just that. Though after a barrage of attacks, it ran off yet again - though not before Treldaan yelled something after it, as if that was somehow helping the situation.
