Rodreck
- Rodreck’s ability to speak with spirits is a “gift” passed down from his mother, a mother whose skull he uses as a spellcasting focus after her failed attempt on his life in the throes of madness (13th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck trusts in the spirits to guide him, to some extent, listening to them when they tell him his path is to follow the “champion” who he recognizes as Pandora. (13th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck loves weaving complex falsehoods and tales, working well with Pandora on a scheme they’ve cooked up to obtain Fendril Vas’ fortune with a false heir. (14th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck takes particular fascination in tragedies, weaving poems about Alyxian based on what Pandora has told him of Ank’Harel and what he’s read. (15th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck is vague by nature, even over Sendings. He believes life and meetings should have poetry to them, despite how much it confuses Aida (who was on the other end of the Sending). (16th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck seems to be at a neutral ground in regards to Pandora’s excessive force and cruelty. He does not speak against her actions, nor does he encourage them. He merely watches, as an observer, without making it clear how he feels about the events. (16th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck chases curiosity to a reckless extent, making a pact of some sort with a being known as Zantras the Kingmaker because of his curiosity. Rodreck knows it is a bad decision, but wants to see what will happen, and what stories he will get from it. He doesn’t crave power the way Pandora does - in a raw, magical form - but craves the power of legacy and reputation. It is this that Zantras is able to use as a selling point, asking Rodreck, “Don’t you want to write about your story, and not stories about other people?” (17th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck recieves a warning from Dione, possibly about his pact with Zantras: “I like that you’re embracing your power, but you should be careful where that power comes from.” It is likely Dione could sense some of the magics around Rodreck, and their origins. (17th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck is captivated by the destruction of Stilben, finding beauty even in the most ugly of things. (18th of Cuersarr)
- Rodreck has a thing for goo girls. (18th of Cuersarr)
