Simione, like other owlin, is a marvelous flier. Also he is quite the smooth talker. His ability to move about without restriction and his silver tongue are his second and third most valuable assets though. What most would see as a curse Simione uses as an aura of impartiality, if not pure immunity from arrest. For he is blind. Simione found out long ago that being blind from birth only means that he will never be able to confirm the identity of anyone to the Magistrate suspected of smuggling or participating in other aspects of the trade.
