Arc 2: The Descent

The party arrived to what once was Cragmaw Castle, now in its place a large pit that extends downward to the Underdark. Not wanting to rest in a vulnerable place at the top, the group proceeded to descend into the void a mile down, finding respite on a ledge just before reaching the bottom. While resting, a melodic but haunting tune rang through the darkness, baiting those who would be unsuspecting of their demise.

Rittle marks the friendly undead so the other companions don’t mistake their allies.
