This group of Asmodean monks is sent out to find information that could be seen as challenging to the Asmodean church or Trhunish control. When information is found by the church that there could be written material that might have heretical or rebellious words, this group is sent to investigate. They then “redact” sections that are contentious, or potentially destroy entire texts if the material is deemed abominable in their eyes.

They were first encountered by the Silver Ravens at Hocum’s Fantasmagorium, where they were sorting through texts found on both levels of the establishment. This expedition was led by Azvernathi Raul, a cleric of Asmodeus, who had been chosen to lead the raid.
