This strange creature made of pages and tomes was encountered by the Silver Ravens in the Library room of the basement in Hocum’s Fantasmagorium. While descending below the statue and exploring the shelves and walls of the library, Yilliv’s disembodied voice rang out in warning, as it took form before them. Being overall agreeable, but bound to specific actions by the magics that summoned it here on the night of ashes, the party failed in every form of trickery and deplomacy they tried to circumvent a fight with the guradian. Though neither side wanted a fight, and both freedly asked and answere question, Yilliv was magically bound to block the Raven’s progress, and so eventually Yilliv was defeated and destroyed in battle.

The creature did provide some information about its mission and its summoner, The Progenitor, though the party did not have the wherewithal at the time to press further about this mysterious figure working behind the scenes….

After giving a pre-death warning that the Asmodean forces beyond were alerted to the party’s presence, the death of Yilliv still weighed on the Raven’s and Lucius now carries Yilliv’s “corpse” in hopes of potentially bringing them back fir a more noble purpose.
