Nurro
God of Numbers and Wealth
Nurro is one of the Fallen Gods, those divine beings who, enticed and deceived by the Demon King’s cunning wiles, dared to tread upon the mortal realm—a transgression forbidden by the Idle God. In the face of their disobedience, the Idle God’s divine justice was swift and unyielding. Nurro and his fellow Fallen were cast down into the depths of the underworld, where their power waned, and their once-mighty divine influence dwindled.
However, Nurro’s plight was unique among the Fallen. His divine portfolio, that of numbers and wealth, was misunderstood by mortals. Rather than being revered as a deity of prosperity and abundance, he was often seen as the god of greed. His teachings, intended to enlighten mortals about the true nature of wealth, were misinterpreted, and his benevolent intentions remained unrecognized.
As the centuries passed, Nurro became largely forgotten among mortals. His temples crumbled, his followers dwindled, and his name faded into obscurity. The god of numbers and wealth found himself alone in the solitude of the underworld, a divine outcast without the adoration of mortals.
Despite his misfortunes, Nurro harbored good intentions. He yearned to teach the ponies of Tanxunill the genuine meaning of wealth—a wealth that transcended material possessions and encompassed the richness of compassion, generosity, and the pursuit of knowledge. His desire to enlighten mortals was genuine, and his heart was pure.
In a twist of divine irony, Nurro found himself enamored with Azara, the playful and benevolent Goddess of Blessing and Patience.
For a god of numbers and wealth, Nurro was astonishingly giving. He sought to enrich the lives of mortals through knowledge, teaching them the value of balance and the importance of generosity. Though largely forgotten, he remained steadfast in his belief that one day, he would be remembered for his teachings on the true essence of wealth.
