Establishing their dominion in a bygone era, the Fallen constructed the realm known as Havenfall, a bastion of their rule that stood as a testament to their might. Unlike the Alicorns of Equestria, these beings bore a distinct visage, shorter and more reminiscent of ponies. This deviation in their appearance arose from interbreeding with the mortal pony races, a compromise that weakened their innate magical prowess, though it did not diminish their formidable prowess in battle. Despite their strengths, the Alicorn population remained a rare and dwindling minority, suppressed by the overwhelming numerical advantage of their mortal counterparts.

Throughout the land, the Alicorns faced a long-standing oppression, their very existence met with tolerance in only one small corner of the realm, the modest country of Drate.
