Day 1

Our journey begins at the Tavern of the Serpent on Metsya. A reflection of a jellyfish-like ship can be seen in the waters of the lake. The flag of the Chalcedon Empire flies atop of the hull.

The tavern is a 3 story building built into the skeletal remains of a fallen serpent. Malka, the no-nonsense septuagenarian who runs the establishments brews a mean applejack, in addition to the standard drinks of whiskey and water. A strange assortment of folks fill the first level. Suddenly shouts are heard from the upstairs meeting room. A mysterious figure tries to flee the scene, but meets with a quick end as Bramble Bristleback stabs into him with his knife.

The party discovers the Baroness Isabella, and three other servants on the ground, void wrecked and writhing in death throws. The party acts quickly to try and save them. The Baroness, in her weakened state says that she’s the Calcedonian ambassador to the Bluestone Empire and they were returning to Calcedon. She requests to speak with us in the morning.

The party rests up from an eventful day at the bar.
