Unravelling Maybelline’s Mystery

The gang patrolled the town of Langston looking for any loose undead. A short shopping break was interrupted by a woman shrieking a few blocks away. Running over and turning the corner to the alley, the group found a mother and daughter being ambushed by undead. Loaded with new powers, everyone sprung into action to save the citizens, with Fergus being able to crit on the zombie abducting the daughter and Jukli running over to heal the mother. The undead vanquished and citizens saved, the party discovered these particular undead were ascending from the sewer; so they put their abilities together to seal the rusted grate shut to prevent more incursions. Heading back to let the Tanya Anathram know of the sewer, Roi burst in asking for the group to gather healing potions from Tomlin‘s house to help some injured militia. The party found Tomlin‘s wedding garland amongst the potions and, after helping heal the militia, attempted to return the garland to Maybelline‘s parents. The parents seemed uninterested and told the party where to find Maybelline‘s in order to bring them to their graves. Upon finding the other garland, they pulled towards each other and when they touched each other flashed in arcane energy and revealed their corrupt nature. Upon further inspection of the garland and the house it was discovered that Maybelline had made a deal with a devil to make Tomlin fall in love with her and in return the dead would be released in Langston.
