Grexes, Huzzah!, Fenpenny, Callum, Axle, The Marqck II, Mr. Beaks, and Vogelvina return to the Old Forest to further investigate the ruined temple of Jael and hopefully learn more about the missing orphans. On the way, they are surprised by two giant boars (which were only large in size). The group swiftly skewers the boars and makes it to the ruined temple. From that encounter Grexes thoroughly learns to never remove his armor. Even if a higher power demands it.

At the temple Axle deciphers weathered glyphs remaining from last year’s sacrifice of four children and their pregnant mother. Axle deduces that the glyphs were a type of protective warding.

Then the group tucks in for the night. Peacefully.
