Podkin One-Ear
Monk
I owe my life to the dwarven cleric from the monastary who took me in when my parents died. His workshop where I learned my trade (woodworking) is the most important place in the world to me. The monastary and the priest helpt forge me into the person I am today, a monk and a priest. I do work hard to be the best there is at my craft and my talents were given to me so that I could use them to benefit the world. In respect of Dwarven culture I’ve taken a solemn oath never to take on an apprentice in the craft: it is not for non-dwarves to pass on the skills of Moradin’s favored children. Furthermore I’ve pledged that everything I do is for the common people, I’m tolerant of other faiths and I always try to help those in need, no matter what the personal cost. Living the most of my life in the monastary my piety sometimes leads me to blindly trust those that share my profession and beliefs, or those that my friends blindly trust. I put too much trust in hierarchy in general (political, religious and local militia, local shopowners).
