Yozahn “Yo” Midwood

Yo grew up in the church and always felt a close bond with Torm, but when he showed an aptitude for martial combat at a young age, his father sent him to train with the military branch of Tyr’s
church. It was a great fit for Yo, he enjoyed the prowess he gained, and felt a growing bond with the larger pantheon of the gods.

Unfortunately, six years ago he found himself struggling to continue in the martial arts. He found himself unable to focus on the action in combat, struggling to be as accurate when striking, and getting hit much
more frequently in training than he should have. It bothered him a little at first, but after a while he realized that the way of the holy warrior was maybe just not the right path for him. He was certain that
Torm had other plans for him, and felt justified in dropping out of the academy when he started having dreams of an emissary of Torm visiting him.

He remembered little of the dreams after he woke, but he knew… he knew something was changing for him. And with Torm on his side, it could only be for the better. Over the years as the dreams increased in frequency Yo only became more certain. He started spending his time in Madryck’s library, having him read all the stories he can find about Torm and any who represent him. Yo is certain that his true purpose is about to be revealed – the memories of the dreams and the emissary are still very fuzzy, but he feels like an agreement has been
made. It just needs to be finalized, and executed.
