Big Top

At midnight the crowds began to gather at the Big Top, for the main show and crowning of the Witchlight Monarch.

Whilst Mister Witch was distracted by the noise of a magic cannon which was being used to launch clowns around the stage Mellow Dias managed to steal his Witchlight Watch to use as leverage.

Due to various acts of heroism and kindness, and having won the Faerie Cake Eating Contest, Yndrus was crowned the Witchlight Monarch.

With Mister Witch no longer in possession of his watch the tone of the carnival started to subtly shift - with things no longer running so orderly or like clockwork.

Staff Area

Burly let The Party back into the Staff Area, where Mister Witch was being chastised by Mister Light for having ‘lost’ his watch. Upon using the Witchlight Watch as leverage to convince both Witch and Light about the importance of missing things they relented and offered to help the party through to Prismeer, saying that there was a portal in the Hall of Illusions.

According to Witch and Light, anyone who sneaks into the carnival without a ticket is robbed of something precious. Whatever is stolen always finds its way to Prismeer. They also warned that the portal was one way - once through people must find their own way back.

Mystery Mine

Zephixo, a strange dwarf, has each party member look into a large clockwork contraption shaped like a giant eye which seems to reach into their minds. On a mine cart they then passed through a dragon’s mouth opening into a demi-plane filled with illusions of their greatest fears. Yndrus was overcome with fright multiple times.

Bubble-Pop Teapot

A far more sedate ride is had in the bubbles formed in the Bubble-Pop Teapot, floating the party over the Witchlight Carnival until they land outside the Hall of Illusions.

Hall of Illusions

Met by Mister Witch and Mister Light they are then led through the maze until they reach the same mirror through which Sowpig spoke to them.

Within the mirror Yndrus spots a Sending Stone.

Mister Witch informs the party of a rhyme that, when spoken in front of the mirror, will transport them to Prismeer.

Hither, thither, here and there; wander yonder, show me where.”

Mellow Dias is the last to go, and is told:

Witch: “Mind the Rule of Three: future, present, past.”
Light: “Find the alicorn and free the dormant queen at last.”

Slanty Tower

Balloon has crashed into a tower, and the basket dangles over the edge. Phee flies up to investigate and discovers inside are a dead Bullywug pilot and Sir Talavar, a Faerie Dragon in a cage who asks them to retrieve the key and save him. He believes that the Silver Key will be in possession on Jingle Jangle of Telemy Hill.

He had been captured by Bavlorna Blightstraw and freed by the valiant Wigglewog, after he had discovered she, along with the rest of the Hourglass Coven, had been the ones who trapped Zybilna in time using an artifact known as Iggwilv’s Cauldron.

They pull the cage up onto the roof of the tower, and decide to spend the night.

Queen’s Way

Spot a hot air balloon spinning out of control and plummet to the ground.

Make way down from the broken causeway to the marsh below, and are accosted by Harengon Brigands, led by Jebbek, who they manage to dissuade from attacking.

Pixie Kingdom

The Party decide to finish checking out the carnival, and head to the Pixie Kingdom. They are all shrunk to the size of pixies due to consuming magic potions. Yndrus wins a game of hide and seek run by Honeymint, and meet a pony-sized (to them in their shrunken state) pug called Pinecone.
