Situated on the west coast of the Isle of Branches, Marklesfield is home to lots of elves, an abandoned temple to Talos, and the druidic enclave of Aetherius. It was untouched by the Cult until very recently, when the Dragonborn Paladin Lancid entrenched himself within the Order there. He helped create a plan by which a Prophet and two Warriors would attempt to take over the leadership roles within the city. The Mercenaries of Emerald Watch foiled their plot.
