Still, they gained the upped hand, forcing the hobgblin’s leader to summon a water elemental to turn the tide. With this elemental appeared another creature, the froglike Marid, seemingly, which immediately thralled Della and pulled her under the water.

Giving chase, the party discovered a portal under the pool, where the Marid sat on a throne with Della on an altar, her energy being siphoned by two merfolk priests. Attacking again, Amira managed to steal a talisman off the Marid’s neck, which summoned a water elemental around her and allowed her to decimate the Marid and his followers as a booming voice echoes from within it: “you will not defile my domain!”

Returning to the surface, you revived your crew and load up in Dingley to return to Port Dimali, without a businessman in sight.
