After a lengthy journey through the night, the party arrives at one of the major cities on the continent of Doran, Mulidern. The party ventures through the airport security with a few hiccups but make it through none the less. After a brief discussion of what to do, the party goes to find a place to rest their sleepy selves. During their much needed rest, a mysterious woman appears next to JC2’s bed and seems to cast a spell before quickly disappearing.

Once the party all wakes up, they explore the city of Mulidern and make their way to the elevator on the side of the elder wood tree named the elevator to heaven. After some turbulence and a little bit of a fright when getting off, the party climbs the spiral top of the city and arrives at the governor’s mansion. Inside the mansion, they speak with the newly appointed governor and are told that to find the vestige that they are searching for, they need to speak with the denizen at the bottom of the Elderwood.

Upon finishing their appointment with the governor, they make their way to a local bar where half of the party begin to drink and the other half remain sober. Upon being told that the bar was beginning to wind down, the party makes their way outside and collects themselves. At one point, Tempus could have sworn that he heard a familiar voice call him rival.
