Upon the party waking up, they regrouped and discussed how the bandits knew where they were. Tempus attempted to sense if he could find any magical energy that was giving off any sort of magical signal. Within a moment he found out that two individuals within the party had magical signals/tethers that were being sent to somewhere. Milo’s signal was eminating from her heart and JC2 had a string that was going into the woods and far far away. After a brief explanation of what he found, Tempus walked to the other side of the cave and found a bloody and horrific scene.

Tempus came across a bloodied area where everyone believed Rio was sleeping, only to find her newest firearm and a bunch of bloodied feathers. After telling the group and them investigating the scene, they decided to continue on their adventure towards the magic that Tempus sensed. As they were walking they came across a blue leafed oak tree named Willow. After a brief conversation, JC2, Tempus, and U’r began to assualt Willow seemingly unprovoked. JC2 blasted a massive hole in the side of will while U’r ripped the fruit off of his branches. Tempus launched a volley grease missles to start the assault and later resented what he did. As they were walking past Willow, he reached a branch out ot Milo and warned her about the spiders that were down the path.

After walking the path for an hour and wandering into a swampy area, the party arrived at the grove of Melora. The party attempted gain entry into the grove but were initially denied access. Not even 5 seconds after, Milo was grabbed by massive spiders and the party was then under sieged by a horde of different spider species. After a gruesome battle that started to turn hopeless, John Tavish Bailey, the champion of Melora, came out of the grove with powerful Treeants and drove back the spiders. The party then ventured inside to grove and saw a mysterious woman sitting next to John. She quickly left the scene after the party entered. The party then were greeted and formally introduced to John and were given a plethora of infomation regarding Vestiges, important locations, and powerful figures to be wary of.
