Once the party fell asleep, they were all mentally linked to a dream space where the Wildmother appeared before her The Wildmother would test them and “punish them” for what the party did to Willow, thus began their trials of consequences. Each god that was linked to each respective party member was also in on the trials. U’r was test personally by Melora and Kord with the image of his past where he failed to protect his previous pack and say images of him losing his current family. Tempus was tested by Kronos where he had to make a decision with no clear or right answer. He either had to watch the world be disintegrated or everyone tha he has ever known and cared about. JC2 finally met Gruumsh and Gruumsh was not impressed with his followers doings and mental thinking. JC2 was then dropped in the middle of city at the bottom of an erupting volcano that was quickly surrounding him. Milo was faced with the Everlight where she gave her only mere moments to make a life saving decision that, unfortunately, costed the lives of everyone that she holds dear to her. After all the trials were done and over, the party was given a final word of warning from Melora to be vigilant and always think before acting.
After waking up, the group was met by Wondria, the Saint of Adventurer and one of the ten saints of the Luthyran empire. She greeted them all and began to tell them about what was currently going on in the empire as they were a small piece of a big puzzle. The empire had just successfully defeated the White Greatwyrm, Amihan Smær. After the raid was completed, the Saint of snow became the Saint of Winter after successfully absorbing the White Dragon Stone Heart. His procedure has a nasty byproduct of the formation of a massive ice spire that is now dubbed “Hypothermia.” Upon the spire being formed, the copper Greatwyrm, Moki Mo’oah, emerged from his lair to see what the surge of familiar energy was all about. He was curious demeanor turned defensive and agitated when he realized that his brother had been killed and used to advance a human.
After telling the party this information, Wondria bid them adieu and went on her way. The party collected their belongings and left the grove. They were on their way to the abundance of time energy when one of the treeants said they could get them there quickly. The treeant then launched the party 50 miles northwestward just outside of Simarlax’s domain. There was a powerful barrier surrounding the lair and the party made it through relatively safely. They almost had a hiccup but it was patched. After a little while walking, the party came upon the mouth of Simarlax’s lair where they were surprised and jumped by Simarlax who was waiting in the water for them.
Once Simarlax jumped the party they began to get their bearings until Simarlax let out a fearful roar and almost made the entire party immediately rethink their entire life decisions. With majority of the party fearful, they did their best to deal some damage to the beast and JC2 managed to break off a piece of his horn. Upon the horn being broken, Simarlax retreated to the interior part of his lair. After some regrouping and preparation, the party began their second phase of this grueling fight. About halfway through, Simarlax invoked the power of his lair and sent U’r and Tempus to a different version of reality where they met and battled one of Simarlax’s echos.
After realizing that the crystals were about of the reason why her friends disappeared, Milo quickly began breaking the massive crystals within the chamber while JC2 was getting mauled by Simarlax. Upon breaking the last crystal, U’r and Tempus returned to their dimension and began their final push to to defeat Simarlax. With almost everyone about to die, Milo and Tempus were the last ones standing has they both did a last ditch effort to kill the creature. Simarlax, on the verge of death, struck a bargain with Celestial Being that he would let them take the vestige and most of his hoard. The party agreed and ventured into his hoard. They party then laid their eyes on the most amount of gold they they have every seen. In the middle of the room laid the vestige of emergence, Chromatic Fury. behind Chromatic fury was a translucent crystal that was intangible. Upon closer inspection by Tempus, he was immediately transported to a distant cold mountain where he saw the gods Kronos and Asmodeus conversing before Kronos threw Asmodeus off the snowy peak. Upon returning to the present, Tempus found that on the back of his left hand was a symbol of a guardian angel wrapping their wings around a pillar.
After the symbol on the back of his hand appeared, Tempus then shifted his focus to the vestige that they were sent to get. Upon picking up the vestige, the sword immediately turned into a rod. Tempus ran an arcane scan and was mentally transported to a black void space where a very hyperactive and energetic flame appeared asking him if he was his new master. Tempus, not knowing what to say, said yes and thus began a attunement symbol on his right hand that began burning into his skin. The flame said it could be ant weapon as long as it has a catalyst to make a frame. Tempus gave him Rio’s unnamed gun and it formed into a hellish looking six shooting hand cannon. While this was happening, the rest of the party was bagging as much gold as they could carry. Tempus ran a magical scan for items and found two of them. One being in the “possession” of JC2 and the other being immediately found by U’r. JC2’s item was a silver heart shaped amulet and U’r’s Item was a deck of cards. Upon looking at the cards, Tempus asked if he could pull a card and upon pulling it, he suddening began growing fur everywhere and turning into a full heragon.
