Originally hired as a bodyguard for a merchant and cartographer who was intent on mapping out the shifting corridors of the Undermountain, the group was attacked by Halaster’s monsters and tricks which caused Nerolia to be absorbed into the walls of the dungeon itself. The fate of her party remains unknown, and a chance meeting between Gruz and a simulacrum of Halaster caused her to be returned to existence. She continues on with the party that freed her, although often succumbs to Halaster’s curse and is imprisoned within the walls once again.

She always finds her way back out again and appears to be drawn to the party.
