My Dearest Companions,

I thank you all for all the support and kindness you’ve shown me up until now. I don’t have the heart to say this to your faces, so I am writing it. After my pity performance yesterday as a mage and even more so a combatant, it’s become clear I’m only weighing you down. I will seek to better myself and grow to be a worthy comrade. The next time we meet, you will stand in awe of my new power. I will reach out to you on my sending crystal when the time is right. Please don’t try to find me.
