Later that night after closing time of the inn the party went downstairs to talk to Glabron about current events. After the information gathering suddenly the door burst open and Jamal enters all beat up. She escaped from her prison in the Bleth dungeon when she had the chance. There is unrest of some sort in the castle and almost everyone is evacuated. The party decides to enter the castle and try to free Amely Bleth-Naste from her obviously evil captor and “husband” Anaundor Bleth (who is obviously a fiend by the way). Cairon Artax flies out to scout the castle with the help of the spryte of Cereen Malorn. Due to not so stealthy action the two get separated and Cairon is forced intro drastic measures, he hides himself in a wall of stone. Only to re-emerge after an hour and find himself surrounded by guards. Luckily the rest of the party arrive and after a short skirmish they save the day! Hurray!

The guardsmen who survived the onslaught of Vanniya‘s ice were set free and their leader agrees to show them to the dungeon and the secret entrance thereby sparing the lives of the two guards down there. There were 3 more prisoners in their cells and due to time pressure, not being able to read their soul-alignment and a somehow lack of cooperation to be ‘soul-read’ by a suddenly emerging spryte they get left behind in their cells.

When the party entered the caverns under castle Bleth they very sneakily encounter some Duergar and a fight ensues. After some serious gagging and barfing the heating of the metal started and the Duergar were easily slain by fire, arrows and smiting. Only to find Nathaniel Malorn in a sort of iron fortress blocking the tunnel. Behind this tunnel you can see a large cave with seemingly 2 exits east and west which some of you recognize as a female internal organ, but in this case holding a litter of armed Duergar instead of the usual single baby…
