Session 31

In the morning, the group makes a few quick orders from the Devil’s Threads before departing just after curfew lifts. Lucius and Perfidus split off from the rest of the group to gather any information or rumors that they can regarding the holding house. They head to the castle districts where they may find a bit more information from Dottari and those adjacent. Ham and Tallulah make way to the holding house directly to attempt to case the place and get a feel for the security. Ayse makes way to a variety of shops looking for scrolls and other material that maybe useful for the mission, and to do a bit of research on the holding house and Kytons.

Lucius and Perfidus hear rumors about the warden, a woman known as “Sabo the Spider”, an Inquisitor of Asmodeus and earned her post for exceptional performance to the Church. There are also rumors that the armatures are, in fact, held in the Holding House.

Ayse does a bit of research through public records, finding that there are no sewer tunnels that connect to the Holding House, ruling out that option of ingress.

Ham and Tallulah are able to scout out the schedules of the guards. There are no exterior patrols but there seem to be anywhere from six to eight guards on break outside of the holding house at any given time taking just enough time to see families and sleep before returning to work.

At the end of the day of recon, the group reconvenes back in the Wasp’s Nest to discuss their plans. The party begins to lean towards a deceptive, false flag plan with Lucius putting together the strategy hinging on his disguise and deception abilities. During this time, his order from the Devils Threads arrives, along with an attached note from “The Rose Of Kintargo” signaling that the followers of Milani are interested in the Raven’s actions, but now is not yet time for the groups to join efforts, and that they should expect a meeting with The Rose “soon”.
